A story where tourism supports agriculture, agriculture supports communities, and communities preserve the cultural identity of Tuscany.

B Corp as a continuous improvement framework

For Jollie, B Corp Certification is not a final achievement, but a framework for continuous improvement. It helps us measure our decisions, challenge our practices and strengthen the positive impact of our ecosystem over time.

As we continue to develop Grape Tours, Formaggioteca Terroir, Campo Sasso and the future Tracolle farm-to-table project, our goal is to keep aligning business growth with responsibility toward people, local communities, landscapes and future generations.

Jollie Joins the Global Sustainable Tourism Community

Jollie is an Organization Member of the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC), the international organization that establishes and manages global standards for sustainable travel and tourism.

Through this membership, Jollie joins a global community of tourism businesses, destinations, institutions and professionals working to advance more responsible and sustainable tourism. The GSTC framework will help guide our continuous improvement across tourism, hospitality, partnerships and visitor experiences in Tuscany.

This membership complements the broader commitments of the Jollie ecosystem: B Corp Certification provides an independently verified framework for responsible business, while GSTC connects Jollie with international standards and expertise specifically dedicated to tourism.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between B Corp, GSTC and Biosphere?

B Corp is an independently verified business certification. GSTC establishes international standards for sustainable tourism, while Biosphere provides a practical framework for applying sustainability principles to tourism activities.

Is Jollie certified by all three organisations?

No. Jollie’s relevant activities are B Corp certified, Jollie is a GSTC Organization Member, and Grape Tours holds Biosphere Committed status. GSTC Membership and Biosphere Committed status are not certifications.

How do these commitments complement one another?

B Corp assesses Jollie’s overall social, environmental and governance impact. GSTC provides international guidance for sustainable tourism, while Biosphere helps Grape Tours turn these principles into measurable actions.

Why does Jollie use several frameworks?

Jollie combines tourism, food, hospitality and agriculture. These complementary frameworks help us improve both our overall business practices and the specific impact of our tourism activities.
